JoCo Candles was founded by Joanna in 2020 in the Midlands, UK. 

“I started making candles in 2019, experimenting with lots of different waxes and gifting them to close friends and family. The following year I began experimenting with pressed flower candles for my wedding when I realised the opportunity to make bespoke candles for others incorporating flowers.

Lots of people have a favourite flower, so JoCo candles can be the perfect personalised gift, particularly when adding an engraved message to the wooden lid. Since 2021, I am also pleased to now offer a wedding bouquet preservation service which is becoming increasingly popular. If you want to preserve your wedding bouquet or other sentimental flowers, my products are a lovely, eco-friendly way to remind you of a special memory. Excluding preserving wedding bouquets, all of the pressed flowers and foliage used in my candles are handpicked from my own garden. All of my products are lovingly handmade at my home on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border in the Midlands.

I wanted to make sure that all the products I make are eco-friendly, all container candles are made with rapeseed or soy wax which contain no harmful toxins. All products are shipped in 100% recycled, recyclable or biodegradable packaging and the fragrances used are vegan and cruelty free.
